Most students think that geography is the locations of countries, capital, river, etc. Geography is really much more than this. Geography is the study of the features of the earth and its atmosphere. The study of Earth's landscapes, peoples, places and environments. It is simply about the world which we live in. Our natural environments. Geography is aim to study both natural and human.

Reflection on video "Tsunami the Aftermath"
There are many
natural disasters in the world, Tsunami is one of the most violent disaster. It
happened in 2004. More than 225, 000 people in 11 different countries were
killed and over 2 million people lost their homes.
The movie 'Tsunami
the Aftermath' shows about Tsunami in Khao Lak resort, Thailand. There were
many families went to Khao Lak to celebrate Christmas but unfortunately on 26th
November is the Tsunami day. Almost 1000 people were killed including foreigners.
People who injured were sent to hospital near by. The death people were sent to
pagoda in order to burnt the corps according to Thai traditional funeral.
Moreover, The government is not fast enough to solve the problems because they
lack of volunteers, medicals, foods and so on.
In my view, people
should learn how to precaution for natural disasters so there would not be like
this disaster.
Why study Geography?
Geography is the
subject which we study about environments, land, the Earth and
people. Geography helps us realize that there is a relationship between
people, plants and animals because we share one home - the Earth. It describes
the land and the Earth such as minerals and resources.
We study geography
to understand the phenomenon that occur in the world and how it affecting us.
From studying Geography we will know how human acts to nature. Moreover,
Geography let us understand the different places on the Earth are linked.
This understanding eventually leads to closer cooperation among countries and
makes the world to be a better place to live in.
